Role

Lead change and influence strategy in a small creative team for some awesome tech clients. You will be working with designers, and content creators to plan and execute digital marketing campaigns that make lasting impact on client success. We work in a beautiful Scandinavian-inspired co-working space on Queen East or at our Downtown Oakville lakeshore office.

The ideal candidate will have experience with marketing SaaS and startup technology brands and will have a proven track-record of measurable marketing impact.

Responsibilities

Content Marketing
  • Conceptualize, plan and execute websites, landing pages and blog posts using WordPress
  • Manage content marketing calendar and look for branded and SEM marketing opportunities
  • Project management with creative team
  • Tools : WordPress, social publishing tools, SEMrush, AHREFs, leadpages,
Email / Social Marketing
  • Integrate email marketing initiatives into content calendar
  • Create campaign themes and email marketing strategy
  • Proofread, schedule and deliver campaigns
  • Manage client marketing lists and find opportunities for promotions, and nurture campaigns
  • Run or sub-contract outbound email marketing initiatives
  • Tools : Hubspot, marketo, drip, mailchimp,
Conversion Optimization
  • Monitor campaign success and measure bounce rate, conversion rate and page views
  • Run and test A/B tests and content experiments
  • Tools: Visual website optimizer, Drift,
Advertising
  • Bring campaign strategy to digital advertising campaigns
  • Tools: Google Adwords, Facebook Remarketing, Lookalike Audiences, Linkedin marketing
Account and Project Coordiation
  • Constantly keep clients and team up to date with projects
  • Identify and solve roadblocks and clients through problem-solving and consultation
  • Scheduling client check-ups
  • Monthly reporting on client results in marketing dashboard
  • Tools: Trello, Slack

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude
  • Working knowledge of web technologies and design software
  • Passionate about being on the right side of change and thinking ahead of the curve
  • Great sense of humor and ability to tolerate a high level of puns and dad-jokes
  • Clear communication skills and scheduling across multiple projects
